Deshantari Walk - A - Thon 2009
Deshantari is organizing it's 3rd annual Walk-A-Thon on Sunday, 30 August, 2009. This event will be held at Hog's Back Falls. The Walk-A-Thon benefitted the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. The Deshantari of Ottawa-Carleton's Executive Committee would like to urge everyone to help raise donation by pledging to help the Heart Institute further their life saving work.
Time : 9 AM - 1 PM Gathering : At the parking lot of Hogs' Back Falls park. Walk : Starts from the parking lot – along the canal (no street crossings) – using the sidewalks along Colonel By Drive going North – upto Landsdowne. Then back to Hog's Back falls parking lot (5 kms each way for a total of 10 Kms)

A minimum pledge of $10.00 will receive a donation receipt from the Heart Institute. Deshantari will collect all cheques, payable to "University of Ottawa - Heart Institute" . All "Cash" pledges will be collected by Deshantari and passed on to the Heart Institute.
